On the internet, it's like a geography lecture is taking place (in a good way). You may choose to blast headshots from the prone position, perform barrel rolls in a jet with personal unlocks, or see how many dog tags you can knife from your opponents. Battlefield 3's multiplayer is all about the freedom of choice. Size, customization, and the necessity to take creative initiative are all apparent in their design. Scale is immediately apparent across the game's multiplayer levels, from the beaches of Kharg Island to the peaks of Damavand Peak. I don't think Battlefield purists will have a problem with the campaign you're enrolling in this struggle to bring down whole armies online. Because with Battlefield 3, DICE doesn't really need to tell a compelling tale in order to create one of the best-ever multiplayer experiences of the year. With a decade-long history of renowned big-team clashes, it provides blazing multiplayer, but flops over an uninspired single-player narrative.
